Hello BNI Surrey Hills members and guests! This week, our feature presentation was from Katy Reilly, on Transgas. Here’s a recap of our meeting held on June 27, 2024.
Feature Presentation: Katy Reilly - Transgas
This week’s feature presentation was from Katy Reilly, who provided excellent recommendations on boiler servicing and air conditioning maintenance. Katy emphasized the benefits of servicing during the summer, when there are fewer callouts, helping clients avoid the winter rush and ensuring their systems are in top condition when they need them most. Her advice was timely and practical, offering valuable tips to keep our homes and offices comfortable year-round.
Education Slot: Phil Curtis - No No Bingo
Our education slot this week was led by Phil, who introduced us to No No Bingo. This game highlighted common mistakes to avoid when promoting your business. By identifying and discussing what not to do, attendees gained valuable insights into the importance of using the right language and strategies to appeal to clients effectively. Phil’s interactive approach ensured everyone left with a clearer understanding of how to refine their promotional efforts.
Best 60s presentation: Antony Gray - Speed Build
Kudos to Antony Gray from O&M office supplies for delivering the best 60 second presentation this week! Anthony captivated us with a great presentation on how quickly he can build an office chair, demonstrating his efficiency and skill. As a result, he has earned next week’s 2-minute slot. Fantastic job, Antony!
Reminder of our May group statistics
Our group’s performance in May showcased the dedication and collaborative spirit of our members. In the month of May our group people to members 63 times and as a result of these referrals, our member’s businesses thanked other members for just under £70,000 worth of business. This was made possible through 61 one-to-one external meetings. We also invited 11 visitors to our meetings over the course of the Month, widening our scope further across the area.
These numbers reflect the strong network and support system within our BNI Surrey Hills chapter, contributing to the growth and success of our businesses.
